Can We Believe Him Anymore?

Today is like any other normal day..i went to settle my utilities bills and happen to have a glimpes of today's newspaper. It says..our beloved PM declared that there will be no more price hike for the petrol or fuels until end of the year. This is very interesting..since we have experienced in the past the made many statements that relate to time frame.
First and foremost the glory of the date for dissolution of parliament. He announced it after few days it he mentioned something it will not happen in a near future. But like anyone else, i was caught surprised when he did dissolve the parliament almost immediately after the statement. I thought this was a very cute strategy to get the opposition off guard. Off guarded they were and luckily the 13 (supposedly to be favourite number) gave enough time for the opposition to strategized thus the political tsunami have embedded firmly in the history of Malaysia.
Then the second promise statement have taken place and this time with a bit more clearer timeframe given to all Malaysians. Most likely the price of the fuels will be increased due to the current uncertainty of the crude oil prices all over the world can be only seen in August. Like usual and maybe many more citizen pondering the scenarios in August that will take place after the price hike. I for one imagining going to the Merdeka celebration with public transport, maybe there will be more motorbikes on the street celebrating the auspicious day by putting our jalur gemilang together with the common mat rempits and maybe trying some of the stunts as well. Something i would be looking forward to see on Merdeka celebration this year.
But to my dismay, it happened sooner than that. Once again our PM proved that his statement is only to make us feel at ease and off guard. This time I cannot see the cuteness side of it simply because I too effected by it directly. Too make it worst, the proportion it was increased, by 40% and my god..I cannot imagine when was the last time i ever got increament of 40% in my paycheck. Well there will be some adjustments and strategies drawn up to help the people cushioning the impact of it...according to the cabinet. We'll see to that.
And today another words that sound like a promise issued by the same person who I think have no clue with the concept of timeframe. We are safe untill end of the year? Not that Idont want to believe him but with nothing concrete strategies in place, I find it hard to take that stand. Sorry Mr PM not this time.
So difficult to see how you could take us out of the situation without we have to pay most of the price at the end. The government can still get something from SCOMI some benefits from the great orders through tax and only god knows what other company or companies that benefited from the situation.
Just do what you can do "best" as PM. Stop all this unnecessary comments and do something that we can see that you are trying your best to make us Malaysians feel protected again.
Just hoping things will be better in my dreams tonight, the least. At least I can sleep peaceful and this because the Malaysians are still a reasonable and passive lots. Lucky you, Mr PM. Are you having a good night sleep?
Till next time. Adios
